ABOUT BERKY
Berken Dogan aka. Berky is a German multi- instrumentalist, producer and composer. At the age of 6 he started learning classical piano and trained himself to a high knowledge of musical theory. In his adolescence, he got in touch with digital music production and Hip- Hop music. Moreover, in his youth, Dance Music became his major production focus, leading to a signature sound: A mix of both worlds- Dance Music with urban influences. Berky widened his creative horizon by living in several major metropoles in the world. London, Moscow and New York influenced tremendously his creativity.
A decade of intense evolvement of his beatmaking skills lead to his first release, already including 3 of the most known Rap Acts in Germany.
Berky is known for his wide range of musical diversity and fusion of genres such as, Hip- Hop & Dance. Hence, Berky produced various hits for: Bausa, Apache207, Ayliva, Ski Aggu, RIN, AK Ausserkontrolle, Sampagne, Lil Zey & LEA.

TEMPO
Music driven by a feeling, not by a set speed. In his early years as a pianist, Berky learned that this way of playing was so- called "Tempo Rubato". Exactly this spirit influenced tremendously his beats. He mainly trusted his instinct and feeling, hence on his own TEMPO, on his own rhythm.
But what does this have to do with the EP "TEMPO"?
Musically and also visually this project shows 2000s retro vibes clashing with urban big city feeling. Hard beats meet classical melodies. Melancholic vibes make you want to dance while creating you a thoughtful moment. How this would sound, can only be explained by listening yourself. More Information coming soon!
